Nataliia Kobylko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of Faculty № 6 of KhNUIA, Candidate of Philological Sciences, took part in the International Scientific Congress "Vasyl Stefanyk and World Culture", dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the writer's birth. The event was organized by SHEI "Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University".

The work of the congress covered two days and different locations. On the first day discussion panels were held in the writer's estate in the village of Rusiv. On the second day, they undertook activities at the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies (MoPED) of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. The discussion panels were devoted to the following issues: "Vasyl Stefanyk: dialogue of generations", "Vasyl Stefanyk and cultural and historical contexts", "Vasyl Stefanyk: the discourse of interpretations", "The phenomenon of Vasyl Stefanyk's artistic thinking: the dilemma of content and form", "Vasyl Stefanyk's work in intertextual horizons "," Linguistic and stylistic features of the artistic world of Vasyl Stefanyk".

The event was attended by scientists from Ukraine (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kolomyia, Chernivtsi, Sumy, Pereiaslav, Kherson, Odesa, Lutsk, Sniatyn, Kalush, Dnipro, Drohobych, Uman, Ostroh, Ternopil, Uzhhorod, Kryvyi Rih, Zhytomyr) and from abroad (the USA, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary). The panel discussions included panel presentations on the stated issues which were actively discussed by all the participants.

A collective monograph based on the materials of the International Scientific Congress is planned to be published.
