Oleksii Serdiuk, Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory on Crime Enforcement at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, spoke about the regional research project "Security and Trust" on the air of the "Know More" programme. In a conversation with the presenter and journalists, it was said how this project is related to police reform, how public opinion polls help identify local law enforcement problems, what police targeting is, how online poll results differ from face-to-face poll results and whether Ukrainians trust law enforcement agencies and what it depends on.

Annual Monitoring Research "Security and Trust" is being implemented from 2013 by Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (by the Research Laboratory on Crime Enforcement) in conjunction with the Sociological Association of Ukraine and the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission within the framework of the Complex Regional Providing Public Safety and Order and Combating Crime Programme in the territory of Kharkiv region for 2020-2022 and the Plan of Events for 2021-2023 to implement the strategy of development of Kharkiv region for 2021-2027. More than 13 thousand respondents took part in the web survey of 2020, and more than 20 thousand inhabitants of Kharkiv region - in the survey of 2021.
