Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of Faculty № 1 Liubov Rusanova held a regular meeting of the scientific circle on "What you need to know how to write a scientific article."

The cadets learned about the features, basic requirements and typical mistakes of writing an article in English. It was determined that it is not enough to know normative grammar and commonly used vocabulary but it is necessary to know the terminology well, lexical and stylistic features of English scientific literature and to be able to use online dictionaries.

Gained experience will be useful for future law enforcement officers to prepare abstracts for the scientific and practical conference in foreign languages "International experience in coordinating the actions of law enforcement bodies and other agencies in emergency situations."
