Nataliia Horobets, Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines and Yana Sadykova, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines participated in the 14-th online forum on Corporate Law, organized by the Employee association in Ukraine. This annual forum is a platform for professional discussion and exchanging of thoughts between leading experts and authorities. Recent changes in Corporate Law, recodification of the Civil Code of Ukraine, Corporate Governance and Structuring, M&A and corporate agreements were in the focus of the event. Maksym Libanov, a member of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, made a report “Legislative proposal on stock companies”. Ukrainian regulation changes “On stock companies” were discussed. Oleksii Kot, the member of the Working Group on Recodification (updating) of the Civil Code of Ukraine, made a report “Changes to the Civil Code in terms of Corporate Law”. The Working Group on Introduction of Amendments to the Civil Code of Ukraine has been set up, which will lead to improvement and further development of Civil Law. A legislative proposal on the Commercial Code of Ukraine on its coordination with the Civil Code of Ukraine has been made. Anton Korobeinikov, who was a speaker, a partner of SayenkoKharenko, one of the developers of a Legislative proposal on derivatives and updated corporate bonds: innovation of capital markets legislation.

Nataliia Boiko, a member of the Supervisory Board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”; Andrii Boitsun, a member of the Supervisory Board, External Director of “Ukrnafta Company”; Oliana Hordiienko, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, an external member of “Ukreximbank ”; Taras Ivanyshyn, a leading specialist in corporate governance of SC “Ukroboronprom”; Mariia Sukhan, corporate secretary of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” also took part in the event. New Corporate Governance Code; Corporate Governance under quarantine; Corporate Governance in “state-owned enterprises”, features of the functioning of the Institute of Independent Directors also were among the proposed issues for consideration.
