Primary police training courses for the specialization “Special Police” (qualification “Security Police”) have started at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. 30 police officers of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region, who were first assigned to the police service, were enrolled in training. They will acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of a police officer within 6 months.

Serhii Bortnyk, the First Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel, met with the students of the primary professional training. He stressed that students and cadets receive a quality education, adhere to official discipline and internal regulations.

Due to the introduction of quarantine measures in Kharkiv, conditioned upon the “red” level of the epidemic threat, cadets of the primary police training after registration and enrollment were sent to the place of recruitment, where they would be trained remotely.
