Mykola Pakhnin, Assistant Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Head of the Center of Ukrainian-Polish Development of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in a TV marathon dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the first non-governmental TV company “Tonis-Center”, better known as “Channel Seven”. Mykola Pakhnin devoted more than twenty years of his life to television, five of which he worked as the head of the socio-political broadcasting of the “Channel Seven”, was the author and host of popular programs in the genre of talk shows, such as “Evening Kharkiv” and “Direct speech”. Much attention in these programs was paid to issues of law enforcement and, first of all, the life and development of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Heads, scientists and cadets of the university became one of the most interesting and popular interlocutors of Mykola Pakhnin on the air of the mentioned programs.
