I am glad to congratulate you on a conscious and important choice in your life – the protection of the Ukrainian people.

You have chosen a difficult but very honorable profession of public order and peace defender of the country.

The oath is taken for a lifetime and it is an outstanding unforgettable event in human destiny, demonstration of his life choice, a conscientious attitude to the profession, solemn promise to serve truly to an independent state.

You have a bright future ahead of you. You have youth, energy, patriotism, decency, a thirst for new science.

Learn, purposefully acquire knowledge, acquire necessary skills, gain experience. You will need all this in the field of service of the Fatherland, the Ukrainian people, to whom you pledge allegiance.

I sincerely hope that you will be accompanied by success, and strict observance of the slogan “Serve and Protect”, that will direct your forces for maintaining peace in our native land.
