Representatives of EU Regional Advisory mission Udo Moller, Stanislav Bezovskyi and Daniel Farrell visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The purpose of their visit was to consolidate existing contacts established during previous trips, and chairman of the regional department Recommend to a position for which Udo Moller.

EU deploys that mission to assist Ukraine in implementing civil security sector reform, including reform of the police and the rule of law. The mission will provide the Ukrainian party strategic advice on the development of effective, self-sufficient and accountable to the public security services, which will contribute to strengthening the rule of law in Ukraine for the benefit of citizens.

The mission''s primary task was presented during this meeting and was thoroughly informed of its current activities. Management of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs described the institution, its structure, areas of training, core activities, innovations and more. In addition, foreign delegation got acquainted with the material and technical base of university during a tour of campus. The guests visited training police station, training center to combat cyber crime and cyber monitoring, "green room" gender education center, the courtroom and the UniversityMuseum.

Summing up the meeting, discussed the prospects for future cooperation, both sides have expressed a desire to establish cooperation on a permanent basis, which would assist police reform Ukraine. Such cooperation would allow adopting the best achievements of the European system of policetraining.
