Today, September 6, while presenting priority areas and projects of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the head of the department presented the newly formed team.

Denys Monastyrskyi said that Yevhen Yenin became the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.

"Yevhen Yenin is an experienced politician who will coordinate the activities of a number of structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the National Police," the minister said.

The Deputy Minister Bohdan Drapiatyi will be responsible for relations with the Verkhovna Rada and the activities of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Mary Akopian will coordinate and support the international activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Deputy Interior Minister Oleksandr Hohilashvili will continue to work on shaping state policy to combat drug addiction and drug crime.

The Deputy Minister Ihor Bondarenko will be responsible for the digital transformation and digitalization of the services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Serhii Honcharov will continue to work as the Deputy Minister in the implementation of international projects, which are part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and provide for long-term implementation (contract with Airbus Helicopters for the supply of French helicopters for the MIA Unified Aviation Security and Civil Protection System, contract with OSEA for manufacture and supply of 20 patrol boats for the border security system, etc.).

The Deputy Minister Kateryna Pavlichenko will continue to work towards human rights, gender equality and combating gender-based violence.
