Participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty № 1 of KhNUVS took part in the workshop "International Law and Cooperation in the Times of COVID-19", which took place at Kharkiv Diplomatic Club. The event was a partner of the YEAS initiative, which has been implemented in Ukraine by the EU Neighbors East project since 2016.It was launched and funded by the European Union under the Eastern Partnership policy and aims to raise awareness of the European Union's activities.

During the workshop, participants learned about the peculiarities of international law and cooperation with international organizations during the pandemic. The speakers of the event were experts from various fields. Associate Professor of International Law at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Candidate of Law Iryna Kudas spoke about the basics of international law and its role in modern society. UN Human Rights Officer in Ukraine Elishka Moskova spoke about the impact of COVID-19 on human rights. Denys Ganzha, Ukraine's youth delegate to the UN, project manager of Kharkiv Diplomatic Club and founder of the Public Diplomacy Platform NGO, shared information on Youth Diplomacy during COVID-19. “American Spaces” Coordinator in Ukraine Elyzaveta Hlybchenko gave a presentation on "American Spaces in Ukraine". Liliia Antoniuk, National Coordinator of the European Youth Ambassadors Initiative in Ukraine, discussed in detail the topic "Eastern Partnership: Peculiarities of European Integration Processes in Ukraine".

All the participants of the event received certificates.
