Online Meeting of Working Group on Human Rights

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, particulary specialists of Department of International Cooperation Inna Savina and Alona Subocheva, took part in an online meeting of Working Group on Human Rights organized by Kharkiv office of UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.
During the meeting, participants discussed the provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and
Fundamental Freedoms and focused on international legal practice in protection of human rights.
In addition, participants analyzed problems of exercising suffrage by persons in a vulnerable situation in Ukraine, and discussed possible ways to overcome this
problem.
The main speaker of the event was Krasimir Yankov, Head of Kharkiv office of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.
