Natalia Kobylko, Senior Lecturer of the Social Sciences and Humanities Department, Candidate of Philology, took part in the international scientific conference "Citius, Altius, Fortius!": The phenomenon of sports in literature and culture", which took place at Berdyansk Pedagogical University. The event was held online on Zoom platform. Scientists from different parts of Ukraine - Berdyansk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Melitopol, Zaporizhia, Dnipro, Kyiv, Kherson, Mariupol, as well as Warsaw (Poland) - were united by the theme of sports, physicality, motives of the game and competitions in fiction and culture. The field of research of scientists became works of various genres of both classics and modern authors. During the work in the sections the participants asked questions and joined the discussion of important problems of literary studies.
Natalia Kobylko made a report "The game as a core component of the psychological thriller "And the judge will come" Vladimir Lys". The author explored the game motive, which is a state of the human soul, prone to excitement, a symbol of character, life; separately emphasized the genre specifics of psychological thriller.
