Associate Professor of Law Enforcement and Police Mykola Holub and the officers of the Ukrainian National Police conducted a binary lecture "The organization of work in the National Police to prevent and combat domestic violence" for the students of Faculty № 6.

Major of Preventive Activities Department of Kharkiv National Police Serhii Holovin and Inspector of Patrol Police in Kharkiv Region, lieutenant  Kateryna Shved  told the students about  the work of Rapid Response Teams in  Kharkiv Region. Their duty is to respond quickly to cases of domestic violence. These groups include policemen of Department of Preventive Activities and Patrol Police.

Police officers of these forces can provide medical, legal and psychological assistance to victims. They received appropriate training in quick responses and counteracting domestic violence. Such mobile rapid response teams have been established in Department of Preventive Activities in Kharkiv Region and have been operating in Kyivskyi, Slobidskyi and Nemyshliansky Police Departments for a year now. The analysis of the work of these mobile groups confirms the expediency of creating such units in all district police departments.

The participation of the National Police practitioners has increased the relevance of the topic of the lecture and made it more interesting, instructive and practice-oriented.
