Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, general of police of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko is currently in the United States within the official visit to the United States studied the American police training system.

One of the points of the plan of the delegation was the attendance of the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy. During the conversation with American colleagues, they discussed the issues related to the exchange of approaches to police training and the establishment of international relations in order to more effective reform of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Representatives of the delegation also visited the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States of America. They met with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valerii Chalyi.
