The Department organizes its work in cooperation with all Departments of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs according to prospective and current plans. Its employees carry out a set of measures aimed at implementation of the university's information policy, formation of a positive image of the Ukrainian police by introducing publicity as one of the basic principles of the activity of law enforcement agencies.
The staff of the Department participates in preparation and distribution of advertisement printed products that will popularize activity of university. All members of the Department are members of the National union of journalists of Ukraine, they have higher education and experience in mass media.
Much attention is paid to the production of its own video products. The staff of the department prepare not only videos for distribution on regional TV channels and on the university's website, but also create educational and image films about the university, advertising and thematic videos, etc.
For future applicants, the "Applicant" section on the university's website is created and constantly updated. Information about KhNUIA is also provided in the handbooks for applicants, and the university's admissions office has a telephone line that enables future applicants and their parents to receive qualified and reliable information about the higher education institution.
