Kremenchuk Flight College is one of the leading aviation state educational institutions in Ukraine, and it has no equals in the field of helicopter staff training. The College was established in 1960 and celebrated its 60th anniversary on 1 July 2020. Kremenchuk Flight College has become a structural part of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs since June 1, 2019.

The College is headed by Kotov Oleksii Borysovych.

Famous astronauts: O. A. Leonov, P. I. Klimuk, V. V. Aksonov, A. S. Levchenko, Heroes of the Soviet Union: M. M. Melnyk, B. V. Lialyn, A. B. Hardapkhadze started their career after graduation from the College.

Over the years, the college has trained more than 60,000 professionals from the CIS and about 7,000 citizens from 77 other countries, including Australia, Austria, Britain, Germany, Yemen, India, Canada, China, Mozambique, Peru, Poland, USA, Finland, Japan, etc. 14 types of aircraft (12 of them are helicopters of the famous design bureaus Milia, Kamova, as well as ultralight Ukrainian helicopter AK1-3) have been mastered in the College.

Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs provides two levels of multi-level education: Junior Specialist and Bachelor’s degree. The graduates of the college receive the state-recognized diplomas of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and international standard CPL pilot license according to JAR (by pilot qualification).

Kremenchuk Flight College has professional academic staff. Flight training is provided by pilot-instructors and commanders with the best training and pilot qualifications of the 1-st grade.

According to the State Aviation Administration Certificate of July 03, 2008, № TE-04, the College provides preparation for the candidates to obtain certificates as  private pilots; commercial helicopter pilots; flight engineers; pilot-observers etc.

The college has a well-developed infrastructure to ensure the educational process and provide educational services to cadets, students, and trainees.
